On August 16, Steve Faler, the owner of Heroes and Patriots, and Rosemary Silano, Executive Vice President, took a trip to the town of Elkins, WV to deliver a very special rifle to a very special client.

Jim Wheeler of Wheeler's Guns and Ammo, our exclusive FFL Dealer/Distributor of our engraved firearms in West Virginia, has been working and developing a relationship with us for many years. Honest and hardworking, Jim has made quite the impression on us here at Heroes and Patriots. We wanted to say "Thank you" in a way that only we can.

Through Jim's employees, Rosemary was put in touch with his wife, Marlea, who sent us photos of Jim and his family. We designed a one-of-a-kind rifle featuring Jim, his history, family crest, and his family: his own Family Legacy Rifle. He was unaware we had devoted such time and energy into this special project, until we showed up at his door and presented him with the engraved Henry Golden Boy .22LR with 24Karat Gold-Plating on the barrel band, receiver cover, and buttplate. Even here in the sales department, it was hard to keep the secret from him because we were all too excited for him to see the rifle. The rifle is currently on display in Wheeler's Guns and Ammo in Elkins, WV.
